"Metal Prints are Beautiful"

One of my clients in South Carolina recently purchased a 36"x24" version of my "Rocky Beach" image on my FineArtAmerica.com website (http://phill-doherty.pixels.com/). They chose a metal print because they wanted to hang this artwork over the fireplace in their new, screened outdoor room. Fine art paper, and particularly canvas, would not have been practical print options in this sort of humid outdoor environment because of the very real likelihood of mold developing over time.

Metal prints are made by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. As aluminum is a non-corrosive metal, humidity will not affect the print in any way. In fact metal prints are waterproof, easy to clean and scratch resistant. The best word I can use to describe a metal print is "stunning"...the resulting image has spectacular luminescence, vibrant colors, incredible detail and exceptional archival qualities. Regardless of where you plan to hang a print, if you are considering printing on high gloss, semi-gloss, or silky/satin fine art papers you owe it to yourself to consider the metal print option. You will not be disappointed!

Metal prints can be ordered through this website or on my FineArtAmerica.com website.

MetalPrints™ represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, your images will take on an almost magical luminescence. Metal Prints are available in 4 different surfaces: High Gloss, Satin, and Sheer with a Glossy or Matte finish.
